Alhambra Solitaire

Alhambra Solitaire is a unique online card game that is played with two decks of cards. The game begins with 4 Aces and 4 Kings of different suits, which are dealt as the starting point of 8 foundation piles. The objective of Alhambra Solitaire is to move all the cards to these foundation piles. The piles that start with Aces are built up, while those starting with Kings are built down, all with cards of the same suit.

Below the foundation piles, 8 tableau piles are dealt, each containing 4 cards. The remaining cards form the stock pile. As you play, you flip a card from the stock pile to the waste pile, and if possible, move the waste card to the foundations. The tableau piles do not accept new cards, but you can move a tableau card to the foundation piles or to the waste pile, if the waste card is of the same suit and is one point higher or lower than the tableau card (with Kings wrapping to Aces).

Once the stock cards are exhausted, the waste cards can be turned over to become the stock cards again, and this can be done twice in the game. The key to winning Alhambra Solitaire lies in strategically planning which tableau cards to stack to the waste pile. The more cards you can move to the foundation piles, the higher your score.
